Welcome

Are you looking for assistance with Care Quality Commission registration?

CQCConsultancy is especially for general practitioners and consultants who are about to start the registration process with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Embarking on CQC registration can be daunting and time consuming. With a busy practice to run you are faced with lots of questions and additional work.

  • What do I do first?
  • Do I need to be registered?
  • Can my practice manager prepare the paperwork?
  • I haven’t got a practice manager, should I get one?
  • How long will it take to prepare everything?
  • What policies do I need?
  • How do I write a policy?
  • How do I demonstrate the policy works?

It is hard at this stage to see how you can make registration a positive process for you, your staff and your patients. But it can!

CQCConsultancy can assist you and your staff with registration, saving you time and money and show you ways the process not only demonstrates your compliance but can be used as a tool in patient satisfaction, marketing campaigns, staff retention and lots more.

“Filling in the registration form is the easy bit, what takes the time and practice involvement is compiling all the supporting evidence to demonstrate compliance.”

A brief background to the CQC

The independent regulator for providers of health and adult social care is the Care Quality Commission (CQC). By April 2013 it is expected that NHS primary care medical services will join all dental providers, independent ambulance services, the NHS Trusts, adult social care and independent healthcare providers in being registered and regulated with the aim that everyone using healthcare services (independent or NHS) in England will have a positive experience that can be measured against a single regulatory framework.
